George III Mahogany Game Table, England, mid-18th century, with deal and oak, folding top with inlaid grain-painted textile surface over squared corners on a frieze with single small side drawer, swing-out gate leg, supported by carved cabriole legs on pad feet, ht. 28 3/4, wd. 31 3/4, dp. 31 1/4; closed ht. 27 7/8, dp. 15 1/2 in.
Provenance: Proceeds from the sale of the collections will be used by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, Virginia, exclusively for the acquisition of art and antiques to be exhibited in its art museums and historic buildings.
