Staffordshire Salt-glazed Stoneware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1760, squat bulbous form with molded body of shells and oak leaves mounted atop three lion and paw feet, ht. 4 in.
Provenance: Dean Rockwell collection, The Victor & Muriel Polikoff Collection.
Cover: Restorations to rim chips. Pot: Two 1/2" rim hairlines; chips to either side of the spout; one foot off and repaired.
