Wedgwood Rosso Antico Egyptian Ware Teapot and Cover, England, early 19th century, applied black basalt crocodile finial, the pot with bands of hieroglyphs above meander, impressed mark, lg. 9 1/4 in.

Provenance: The Victor & Muriel Polikoff Collection.
Estimate $500-700

Cover: Restoration to head of crocodile.
Pot: Shallow 1/4" chip to footrim.
