Folio, illustrated with text maps after Hondius and the double page engraved map entitled, The Map of China (the first western map of China derived directly from Chinese sources) with page numbers 400 and 401 in the top left and right corners; and the large woodcuts made after the Mexican Chronicle, lacking four leaves of the index; slightly later half leather and paste-paper boards, many contemporary marginal notes dated c. 1630, some paper repairs to text, 12 1/2 x 8 1/4 in.
