Miscellaneous Group of Signed Documents, Approximately Forty-eight. Including: two military appointments signed by Caleb Strong, a Supreme Court card signed by Charles Hughes, and various letters from 20th century state governors, university presidents, Archbishops, secretaries to high-ranking political officials, a quill (damaged) and mounted to a signed card a souvenir of Quillqote, in Hollis, Maine, signed by its occupant, Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm author Kate Douglas Wiggin and her collaborator Nora Archibald Smith, and other letters and documents, mostly from the late 19th and early 20th century.
