Including: a folder containing newspaper advertisements, reviews, and correspondence related to the silent film, The Forbidden Thing, written by Mears and produced in 1921; typed draft of the original stories, Desert Waters, Ocean Mary, the play, Wings and the Woman, and several typed versions of the novel, Begotten; an extensive collection of correspondence, including genealogy, family letters, and material related to Mears's writing career and her sister, Helen Farnsworth Mears's sculpture; a scrapbook dedicated to Helen Farnsworth Mears; a group of checks and legal documents; and other documents.
