Emerson, Ralph Waldo (1803-1882) Autograph Letter Signed, Concord, 24 September 1867. Octavo-format wove paper bifolium inscribed over two pages. To G.F. Tinker Esquire of New London, Connecticut, making arrangements to come and speak in November, and offering the topic, "The Man of the World," for the purposes of advance advertising. "You shall not give any trouble about sending a fee in advance." Old folds, 8 x 5 in.
