Louis Icart (French, 1888-1950)

Joie de vivre, 1929 (Holland et al., 359). Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., numbered "327" in pencil l.l., artist's dry stamp l.l., identified within the plate. Color etching and aquatint with stencil coloring on paper, plate size 24 3/4 x 16 in. (62.8 x 40.6 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, fox marks, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $800-1,200

Sheet measures 31 3/4 x 22 7/8 in. (80.5 x 57.7 cm). Toning, mat burn, fox marks, especially at bottom below the image, minor losses at sheet corners. No additional issues to report.
