Signed "Frederic Remington" in the bronze on the top left side of the base, inscribed "Copyright by/Frederic Remington" on the center back of the base, stamped and numbered "ROMAN BRONZE WORKS NY 115" at the lower edge of the back of the base.
Bronze with green patina, height 10 1/4 in. (26.0 cm),on a marble plinth.
Condition: Minor wear to patina, dust and dirt to interstices.
Estimate $4,000-6,000

Wear to the patina so that the bronze is exposed on the tip of the figure's nose.
