Signed "J Maris" l.r., titled on a label from Alex. Fraser, Vancouver, British Columbia, affixed to the backing.
Oil on canvas, 10 3/8 x 14 1/4 in. (26.4 x 36.2 cm), framed.
Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure, paint loss c.r.
Estimate $1,000-1,500

Framed dimension: 15 1/4 x 19 1/2 in.

Retouch to strengthen the tree on the far left and the red sail. Retouch also throughout the sky and with another small area to the lower right corner. Stable craquelure.
