Tsimshian Carved and Painted Wood Shaman's Rattle, c. mid-19th century, carved in two halves, with an incised and painted thunderbird on both sides, the globular form with two native repairs on one side, rich glossy patina, lg. 12, wd. 5 3/4, dp. 4 1/4 in.
