Mahogany Lyre Clock Attributed to Walter Durfee, c. 1915, composite gilt eagle finial atop the mahogany case with brass bezel over the painted convex iron roman numeral dial, midsection with carved scroll, acanthus leaf, and central fan over a reverse-painted tablet with gilt stringing and foliage against a green ground, lower carved pedestal, eight-day time-only brass movement regulated by a pendulum and powered by a lead weight, ht. 36 in.
