John Sterland Japanned Longcase Clock, Nottingham, England, c. 1790, fully decorated case with a flat-top case with glazed hood door opening to the 11-in. dia. brass roman numeral dial marked as above, pierced hands, seconds bit, and engraved center, full-length serpentine waist door, resting on a stepped molded base and bracket feet, eight-day, passing strike brass movement, regulated by a pendulum, and two lead weights, ht. 83 in.
