Bond & Son, Boston, No. 469, roman numerals, up-down indicator and seconds dial below, gilt spade hour, minute, and indicator hands, blued-steel seconds, screw-fit glazed bezel, brass gimbal and bowl, chain drive fusee movement with maintaining power, two-arm split bimetallic balance, helical hairspring, and spring detent escapement, in a three-tier, brass-bound, rosewood box with brass carrying handles, ht. 6 1/2 in.
