New England Mirror Wall Clock, probably southern Maine, c. 1820, the pine case with ebonized and gilt turned half-columns with brass rosettes at the corners, reverse-painted glass over the painted wooden dial with arabic numerals and central tree design, looking glass in lower section, eight-day, lead weight-powered movement with iron plates, recoil escapement, and wooden pulley, ht. 29 1/2 in.
wonderful old crusty finish with original painted dial. Has winding key and weight.
