Willard School Mahogany Wall Regulator, Boston, c. 1840, turned wood bezel over the painted iron roman numeral dial, hinged throat and lower door, reverse-painted black and gold throat glass, heavy, unmarked, trapezoidal, eight-day movement with dead-beat escapement and maintaining power, regulated by a pendulum with giltwood rod and large brass-faced bob, powered by a weight, ht. 50 in.
