Terry Mahogany Tavern Clock, Terryville, Connecticut, c. 1840, mahogany case with turned wood bezel over the 11-in. painted wood roman numeral dial, flame mahogany wood panel lower door, unusual eight-day brass movement with square back plate, skeletonized circular front plate secured by tabs to the three pillars, powered by a lead weight and regulated by a pendulum, interior label reading in part Silas B. Terry. Horologist, ht. 35 in.
