William Grant Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Boston, c. 1825, mahogany case with painted iron roman numeral dial marked Wm. Grant, Boston, half round moldings enclose the mahogany tablets, eight-day time-only movement powered by a weight (missing) and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 29 1/2 in.

Lacking weight, key and finial. Door panel has two cracks. Bottom has replaced elements. Object left throat side needs re-glueing. Dial relined.
