Wood-front Striking Banjo Clock, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1825, the mahogany case with turned wooden bezel over the unsigned roman numeral dial, concentric circle steel hands, wood panel on waist flanked by carved side ornaments and hinged box door, eight-day time and strike movement with bell mounted above, rack and snail strike, recoil escapement, brass-faced pendulum and two lead weights, ht. 32 1/2 in.
