Description:

Irish Sterling Silver Cake Basket, Dublin, probably late 18th/early 19th century, lacking date mark, maker's mark "_G," reticulated throughout, with bail handle and engraved armorial to center, possibly for the Flood family, lg. 13 1/4 in., approx. 25.3 troy oz.
Estimate $300-500

Scattered repairs/re-solder to breaks along frame and handle. Light surface wear, few minor dents.
