British School, 18th/19th Century

Five Works on Paper: Four Watercolor Landscapes including Shepherd and Flock on a Bluff, Two Figures on a River Bank, Abbey Ruins, Cottage Barnyard, and a Pencil Drawing of Tinturn Abbey
. Unsigned, attributed in various pencil inscriptions on the mats or frame to Thomas Sandby and Paul Sandby or Sandly. All works on wove paper, sizes to 5 1/8 x 10 7/16 in., Cottage matted and framed, others matted. Condition: Minor toning and spotting, remnants of old mounts on the reverse.

Shepherd and Flock on Bluff: 5 13/16 x 8 3/4 in.
Two Figures on a River Bank: 5 1/8 x 10 7/16 in.
Abbey Ruins: 6 5/8 x 9 7/8 in., with partial watermark.
Cottage Barnyard: 5 3/8 x 7 3/4 in.
Tinturn Abbey drawing: 10 1/8 x 8 1/16 in.
