George III Sterling Silver Covered Cup, London, 1770-71, maker's mark partially rubbed "_W," with a pinecone finial and gadrooned body, ht. 13 1/2 in., approx. 58.3 troy oz., together with a later wooden plinth with engraved presentation plaque dated 1965.
In good overall condition with only light surface wear, few nicked abrasions to handles. Stand with cracks, nicked losses, and restorations to veneer.
