Description:

Bronze Bust of Buddha, Thailand, possibly 13th/14th century, Ayutthaya style with a defined hairline, arched downcast eyes, aquiline nose, and double-lined lips, broken with only the left shoulder and arm left, missing ushnisha, with a modern wood stand holder, ht. 25 1/2 in.

heavy encrustations on some areas of the surface, trace of repairs around neck and ears, top knot missing leaving a hole on top of the head.
