Three Metalwork Snuff Bottles, Tibetan China, a large double gourd-shape bottle with an elongated lotus bud-shape neck, decorated with animals in various poses against a foliate scroll ground in repousse on one side and chased on the other, a braided leather string from the lid to the central knob surmounted with a turquoise stone; a flattened double gourd-shape bottle decorated with gilt filigree and jeweled with shaped carnelian and turquoise; and a slightly flattened pear-shape bottle on stem foot, decorated with two beast heads in repousse below a band of filigree silverwork set with turquoise and carnelian, a two-loop string connecting to lid, ht. to 5 1/2 in.
