Coral Carving of a Mother and Child, China, 20th century, the mother standing and holding a branch of flowering plum blossoms in one hand with scrolling branches of plum blossoms and tendrils covering her robe, holding a chain in the other hand which leads to the child's toy rabbit-cart, the child holding a musical toy depicting a toad, with conforming carved wood stand, ht. to 4 1/4 in.
