Creamware Half-pint Mug, England, c. 1780, manganese-glazed reeded bands at the rim and foot framing a ground of rust-colored slip dotted with daubed black slip and with a sprigged ornamented arch over an oval portrait bust with dark brown slip details, and applied molded strap handle, (minor imperfections),ht. 3 3/4 in.
