Upholstered Mahogany Easy Chair, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, with serpentine back, shaped sides, and outward-scrolling arms, on cabriole frontal legs joined to the rear raking legs by block-, vase-, and ring-turned stretchers, ht. 47 1/2, seat ht. 18 in.

Chair has a repaired front left leg (there is a with-the-grain-break that is repaired with screws) and the return piece above the leg has been replaced, the rear stretcher has been also been re-secured with screws. New pieces of wood added inside the seat frame. Ready for new upholstery.
