Mocha-decorated Pearlware Teapot, England, c. 1800, the body and lid with fields of speckled manganese slip interrupted by black slip-inlaid bands of checkered rouletting, simple strap handle and curving spout, the lid with upright acorn knop with partial slip decoration, (repair), ht. 5 in.
Provenance: Mr. & Mrs. Jerome Blum, Lisbon, Connecticut.
