Scrimshaw Whale's Tooth with "Sailor's Farewell" Scene, attributed to the Banknote Engraver, mid-19th century, finely engraved with a sailor and his lover beneath a tree framed by a floral border, the back with a scene of a gentleman and his lover with a sailing ship in the background, the top and bottom with diamond tooth border with swags, on a custom wood stand, (shrinkage cracks), ht. 6 1/2 in.
