Plains Painted Hide and Wood Drum, c. last quarter 19th century, rawhide stretched over one side of a wood hoop, painted red with a wolf (?) head at center and stick-like figures, old tag on back reads in part: "Sundance Drum, Cheyenne," dia. 13 in.
