Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, c. 1820, case with brass side ornaments and gilt rope-molded frames enclosing the reverse-painted glasses, 7-in. painted iron roman numeral dial, eight-day time-only movement with lead weight and a pendulum, ht. 33 in.

panels have likely been repainted and are fairly loose. The dial exhibits a good amount of craquelure. The works appear original as well as the plinth and eagle. There is some wear to the plinth
