Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973)

Jacqueline's Profile, 1956, edition of 500 (Ramié, 383). Stamped "EMPRIENTE ORIGINALE DE PICASSO" and "MADOURA..." on the reverse. Convex white earthenware plaque with engraving, oxidized paraffin, and glazes, diameter 7 3/8 in. (18.5 cm).
Condition: Minor soiling.
Estimate $8,000-12,000

Minor soiling on the reverse. There is a small chip at the base of the eye. Several small dark gray areas, possibly bubbles from glaze, at u.l. of headdress line. No additional issues to report.
