Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain Inkstand, England, early 19th century, the bead-rimmed bowl with gilt decorated band of arabesque flowers and shells to a green ground, the sides polychrome decorated with shells attributed to Thomas Baxter, the bowl rim set with three gilded pen holders and mounted atop three sphinx forms on a triangular base, painted mark in puce "Barr, Flight & Barr Royal Porcelain Works Worcester London House No.1 Coventry Street," rim ht. 4 1/2 in.

The cover appears to be a marriage. Light gilt wear to inner rim (where cover sits). No evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations throughout.
