Note: Staffordshire potters often supplied blanks to art colleges and the like. There were often competitions and exhibitions of their works. The reverse of the dish has a partial paper label titled "Exhibition" and "Derby 1884."
In very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
