Description:

Two Mahogany Connecticut Shelf Clocks, a Seth Thomas miniature ogee with eight-day, spring-powered, time and strike movement, and a Waterbury steeple clock with a thirty-hour time and strike movement, ht. 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 in.

both clocks are not in working order, the panels appear original but will losses to the reverse painted scenes. The steeple clock has a cabin panel, the other a scene with birds. Both exhibit craquelure and loss to the dials, the steeple is with veneer chips and loss to the finials.
