Three Arreguipa Pottery Items
Glazed earthenware
Marin County, California, 1912
Small vase in brown glaze, a low bowl in brown glaze with eggplant undertones, and a blue mottled vase, ht. 3 1/4; ht. 2, dia. 6 1/2; ht. 5 1/4 in.

Note: Arequipa Pottery was active from 1911 to 1918. It was established by Dr. Philip King Brown as part of the rehabilitative therapy program at a tuberculosis sanatorium. It is characterized by distinctive glaze colors and surfaces.
