Scarce Pair of Paiute/Shoshone Beaded Hide Moccasins, c. 1870s, with thick rawhide soles, a row of lazy-stitch beadwork around the foot, the vamps beaded with multicolored designs using an unusual spot-stitch technique, the hide appears to be elk, lg. 10 in.
