Six Staffordshire Transfer-printed Boston Mails Table Items, James and Thomas Edwards, Burslem, England, 1825-43, a rectangular "Ladies Cabin" platter with canted corners, lg. 15 3/8, dp. 12; two "Gentlemens Cabin" plates, dia. 8 1/8; a rectangular "Gentlemens Cabin" vegetable dish with canted corners, lg. 10 1/4, dp. 7 5/8; and two "Gentlemens Cabin" cup plates, dia. 4 5/8 in.
The vegetable dish has a 1 1/4 in. hairline crack and a restored rim chip on the underside; the other pieces have no obvious chips, cracks, or evidence of repair.
