Two Staffordshire Historical Blue Transfer-decorated Capital Washington Plates, early 19th century, one with leaf border and view of capitol building with people in front, marked on the back "CAPITOL/WASHINGTON/RS&W," dia. 10; the other with shell border and view of the capitol building in the distance with cows and two people in the foreground, marked on the back "The Capitol/WASHINGTON" and with E. Wood & Sons impressed mark, dia. 7 5/8 in.
