Carved and Inlaid Mahogany Elliptical-front Bureau, possibly Joseph Rawson and Sons, Providence, Rhode Island, c. 1815-28, the top with crossbanded edge above a case of thumb-molded drawers bordered in checkered stringing flanked by quarter-engaged, reeded, ring-turned columns on vase- and ring-turned feet joined by an inlaid shaped skirt, old brasses, refinished, ht. 43, wd. 41, dp. 22 in.
