Cherry High Chest of Drawers, Connecticut, c. 1740-60, the flat molded cornice above a central drawer flanked by two drawers and four graduated drawers below, the lower section of long drawer and three short drawers on cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms and joined by a shaped skirt, old replaced brasses, old finish, (minor restoration), ht. 75, wd. 38, dp. 19 1/4 in.
Top of cornice molding replaced, shrinkage cracks in sides of case.
