Unsigned, inscribed in the lower margin with the names and birthdates of the subjects James F. Frost, Sarah Minerva Fanwood Frost, and Louisa M. Frost.
Watercolor on paper, the couple facing each other across a faux marble-painted table on an ingrain carpet, a mirror timepiece on the wall above them and an orange-clad girl standing on the floor at their feet, 9 x 14 3/4 in., in a molded giltwood frame.
Condition: Losses, toning, repaired tears, not examined out of frame.
