Large Cobalt Floral-decorated Stoneware Jar, John Young & Co., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 1856-58, four-gallon ovoid jar with molded mouth, applied lug handles with cobalt-daubed terminals, the front decorated with a multi-stemmed flowering branch, with impressed maker's mark on shoulder "JOHN YOUNG & CO.," (repaired), ht. 15 1/8 in.
