Tin-glazed Earthenware TartanDish, England, c. 1740, probably Bristol, polychrome decorated with sponged and hand-painted designs including a wreath-like banded border surrounding an inner ring and foliate border, and with diamond-framed tartan reserve to center, dia. 12 7/8 in.
