Southern Federal Inlaid Walnut Huntboard, possibly Virginia, early 19th century, the rectangular top over a case with two large, cockbeaded drawers, flaking a short drawer and two hinged cabinet doors, raised on square, tapering legs, yellow pine secondary, (restoration),ht. 39 1/2, wd. 63, dp. 20 3/4 in.

the top, back and sides are all one board, with filled splits throughout, two cracks to top, four to sides, newer dowels to top and sides for reinforcement, top has been raised 1/4", lock in hinged door replaced, minor loss to bottom left of backboard, drawer sides stained and reinforced with nails, shallow scratches to legs, refinished throughout, runner likely replaced to drawers, insect damage to the drawers.
