Ten Assorted Triptych and Diptych Woodblock Prints, Japan, seven triptychs, mostly sanso-e depicting Sino Japanese war scenes except one by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III, 1786-1865),from the series Twelve Month of Genji, two by Yoshu Chikanobu (1838-1912),one by Kobayashi Kiyochika (1847-1915),one by Kunisada III, one published in 1889 by Kobayashi Tetsujiro, and one by Beisaku Taguchi (1864-1903); and three diptych table-of-contents pages including one with plums, one with maple leaves, and one with herons, all oban tate-e sizes to 14 1/8 x 9 1/2 in.
