Mouth of the Connecticut - Old Saybrook. Monogramed and dated "AES 40" l.l., titled and inscribed "...painted in 1940 from a watercolor done in [no date given]" on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 12 x 16 in., framed. Condition: Minor paint losses, surface grime.
