Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor (1708-1765) Document Signed, 10 October 1757. Four page document inscribed on two large folio-format laid paper bifolia, with outer envelope sheet and large seal. Passing along the complaint of Karl Anselm, 4th Prince of Thurn and Taxis (1733-1805) concerning the King of Prussia's [Frederick the Great (1712-1786)] blatant violations of the Imperial Post Patents that should be in place and respected. Concerning especially illicit postal service in Oldendorf. Light toning, dusty, old folds, 13 1/2 x 8 3/4 in.
