Asking William Sleeper to pay Samuel Winslow Jr., six shillings for one cord of wood to Mr. Toppon, signed by Richard Hubbard (preceding text in his hand); signed and dated by Josiah Bartlett, blank on verso, separating at the central vertical fold, the sheet toned, some chipping, 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.
