Chelsea Oak No. 3 Regulator, Boston, c. 1914, No. 36147, with 12-in. painted zinc arabic numeral dial marked Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, brass, eight-day time-only movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, marked with number above and Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A., powered by a brass-cased weight and regulated by a pendulum, all in a quarter-sawn oak case, ht. 37 in.
Note: According to Chelsea Clock Company records, less than 500 No. 3 regulators were made, and this clock was sold to Daniel Pratt's Son, Boston, on September 30, 1916.
The case and dial retain the original finish. Clock was running when removed from the wall.
